Call for Abstracts

FAPA 2010 welcomes and invites you to submit abstracts. The paper

will be accepted in poster display or podium presentation. Please read

the following instructions carefully before submission.

LANGUAGE

The abstract must be submitted in ENGLISH.

ABSTARCT FORMAT

Abstracts should be brief (a maximum of 320 words excluding the title, and the

title should not be more than 25 words).

A. All abstracts must be submitted through the Online Abstract Submission

System. The submission of abstracts must be made using the dedicated

website abstract form. Paper submissions, faxed or e‐mailed abstracts will not

be accepted.

B. Abstracts should be divided into four sections:

Background and Objective

Methods

Results

Conclusion

Abstracts reporting on research or investigations must include results.

Statements such as “findings will be reported” are not sufficient and the

abstract will not be accepted.

POSTER TYPE

Poster Size: width 90 cm x height 180 cm (vertical poster)

A. Author’s Information should be under the title.

B. The poster must be easily readable from a distance of 1 meter.

C. Time slots for hanging up, being present and taking down your poster will be

published on FAPA 2010 website after 31 August 2010.

NOTE TO ALL PRESENTERS

A. Congress registration

Abstracts will only be accepted for presentation and publication in the Abstract

Book if the presenting author has registered and paid on line before

31 August 2010. Abstracts presenters who haven’t registered and paid the fee

before 31 August 2010 will be disqualified; these abstracts cannot be presented

and will not be published.

B. The Academic and Section Meeting Committee reserves the right to make minor

corrections for:

‐ Spelling and typographical errors

‐ Adding header and footer information to aid in identifying

each submission

‐ Formatting updates

C. By submitting an abstract to FAPA, the author(s) agree to allow publication of

submitted information at the FAPA website and in publications. Oral Presenters

grant permission to FAPA to display their presentation for future distribution.

Notification of Abstract Acceptance

August, 2010
